Should I see a dietitian?
Registered dietitians are licensed healthcare professionals trained to provide you with evidence-based nutrition care.
Common concerns we work with include:
Weight Management - Lose, gain, or maintain weight with sustainable, evidence-based support. Pre-op and post-bariatric surgery nutrition support.
Chronic Conditions - Medical Nutrition Therapy for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, kidney disease, cancer, COPD, and other medical conditions.
Gut Health and Digestive Disorders - Nutrition support for IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, Celiac disease, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, gallstones, bloating, constipation, and other digestive issues.
Feeding Support for Mental Health - Guidance through nutrition and eating routines for individuals living with anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, ARFID, and other mental health conditions.
Feeding Children and Adolescents - Education for parents and caregivers of breastfed or formula-fed infants, weaning infants, and pediatrics through adolescence for growth and development. Strategies for failure-to-thrive, picky-eating, restrictive eating, feeding pressure, and family meal planning.

Disordered Eating and Relationship with Food - Support navigating and healing from emotional eating, food rules, binge eating, and restrictive diets.
What will it cost?
Silver Valley Dietetic Care accepts insurance.
Provide your health insurance information in the New Patient Intake.
Silver Valley Dietetic Care will check your member benefits to see if dietitian services are covered. If prior authorization is required, I will do this for you.
Your individual member plan determines which services are covered by your insurance. You may still have copays, coinsurance, and/or deductibles as out-of-pocket costs. Out-of-network coverage is less than in-network coverage.
All out-of-pocket costs are due at the time of service.
Medicare / Medicaid participation in the near future. Although I am not currently able to accept Medicare / Medicaid patients at this time, please check back in a few weeks.
